A simple recipe to make and so delicious to taste omelette. Some potatoes, onions and eggs, and the tortilla is already almost ready. Place to preparation.


  • 400 g of charlotte char-tank potatoes
  • 1 yellow onion
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 C. olive oil and / or sunflower
  • Salt
  • Pepper

STEP 1 :

Take a salad bowl and start by breaking the eggs. Season them with salt and pepper. Peel the potatoes and rinse them with clear water then cut them into very thin slices using a mandolin.


In a large skillet, heat the oil and brown the potatoes, stirring regularly for 10 minutes.

STEP 3 :

Then peel and chop the onion and add them to the pan with the potatoes then continue cooking on low heat for about 5 minutes while stirring so that the potatoes do not grill. Pour the boiled potatoes and onions into the bowl and mix well with the eggs.

STEP 4 :

Put some oil in the pan and pour the omelette preparation to the potatoes. Spread it evenly. Cook over medium heat for 5 minutes. When the bottom is cooked, slide the tortilla on a plate larger than the pan. Put the pan upside down on the plate and turn it over. The portion of the uncooked tortilla must face the pan to turn it over. Continue cooking on medium heat for 5 minutes. When the tortilla is cooked, put it back in a dish and serve it immediately.
